Ferrol Cruise Port
Ferrol is a sought-after cruise destination, welcoming visitors from around the world with its distinctive charm and appeal. Its convenient location makes it an ideal stop for travelers seeking unique attractions and memorable experiences.
Strategically located on the Atlantic coast of Northwest Spain, Ferrol Cruise Port is a key destination in the heart of the Galician Rías Altas, offering a sheltered deep-water harbor for year-round operations. With a natural, fjord-like entrance reaching depths of 20 meters and a 3-km approach channel, the port provides easy and safe access for the world’s largest vessels. Situated just one kilometer from the city center, it serves as a seamless gateway to Galicia’s rich naval history, breathtaking coastal landscapes, and the historic English Way (Camino Inglés) to Santiago de Compostela.
The port features world-class technical infrastructure designed to accommodate all cruise ship sizes without beam or air draft restrictions. Primary operations are centered at the Fernández Ladreda Quay, which offers a 454-meter berthing line and a 12.5-meter draft, supported by 80-ton bollards and high-resistance shield fenders. This is complemented by the Espigón Exterior Quay, providing an additional 229 meters of berthing space, ensuring the port can manage multiple ships simultaneously with maximum nautical safety and efficiency.
